about the site
I'd been taking pictures for some time before I started this page on 5th March 2006 with the unconditional help of my friend, Soheil Shahsavari, without whom the old dream of having a photoblog would never come true. The pictures simply reflect what I experience every day. They may vary from, mostly, city life indications to abstract works or portraits at times. I do try to post every, or every other day to keep the dynamics of the page. The cameras I use include the Nikon D700, and the [not very often anymore] Canon EOS Digital 350D (Rebel XT). I also use and enjoy the Fujifilm X100 with pleasure very often as well as the Leica D-Lux 4. |

about me
I was born in 1972 and currently work and live in Tehran, Iran. I am a full-time translator and an EFL teacher/trainer, and then an amateur enthusiast in photography. However, to my pleasant surprise, some of my pictures have appeared on some well-known websites, such as the BBC (here) and Tehran Avenue here and here and a few other places on different occasion. You are more than welcome to send your comments and messages to arashgemini@yahoo.com. |
